This is how you will see most of us towards the end of each month.   Sitting at a computer!

We don't all have a computer but those of us who do find them an invaluable tool in preparing Lone meetings for our Units.

Lone Leaders work from home preparing Lone meetings and communicating with the girls in their Units by means of correspondence, telephone or email.

Whenever possible Lone Leaders meet in person with the Guides.   Usually for promise or other special ceremonies, at camps and other activities.   Often great distances are travelled by the Leader or Guides to attend these activities.  It is a very special occasion when Lones meet in person.

Lone Leaders attend Guiding trainings and courses as required and sometimes a special training just for Lone Leaders.  Who better to share the challenges of Lone Guiding with than another Lone Leader?

SA Lones currently has 6 leaders, including a Resource/Support Leader who is skilled and experienced in a variety of areas.

Note: All adult roles are volunteer positions and Leader roles are for women only.
